Life In Kijabe!

May 16, 2010 by olanders4africa

Well we’ve been in Kijabe for 8 months now and are now in Nyati Barn!  Nyat is a Junior/Senior guys dorm.  We have 25 11th grade guys in Nyati, and we will have them for the next two years!  I (Jared) am still teaching 9-12th grade PE.  We’re starting to settle in here in Kijabe and are really enjoying our ministry here.  Malindi has lots of friends, and loves watching the monkeys swing through the trees in our front yard!  Anna keeps her self busy with Malindi, being a class sponsor for the 10th grade class, a Bible Study with other Dorm Moms, and learning a Swahili phrase a day with our Kenyan friends.  Life here at RVA is fast and full.  Yet full of things we love and and bring glory and honor to God!
